The team at BOARDBUBL ™ have recognised that people are waking up to the issues of single use plastic and how much of it is ending up in our oceans. Our aim is to eliminate the need for single use packaging in the Surf Board industry, to get boards from the factory to the consumer safely and in a way that is much more sustainable and which won’t ultimately pollute our oceans. If we want other industries to change then surely we must expect the surfboard industry to lead by example! Many others have tried to protect boards using different materials which look great but simply just don't work. Single use, is still single use, no matter what material you use. So we decided to create BoardBUBL™ to fix this problem; BoardBUBL™ is not single use, it is designed to be used and re-used for as long as you own the board. It protects your board during the journey from factory to you, once you receive it you use it to line your own board bag to ensure that your board is protected for as long as you own it. Leading board makers are already using BoardBUBL™ to guarantee boards arrive ding and damage free.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
BoardBUBL ™ features are a huge leap forward when compared to ineffective solutions such as Bubble Wrap, cardboard and re-constituted pulp
TOUGH & DURABLE
Will withstand anything the logistic chain will throw at it and more!
BoardBUBL ™ is extremely tough. Our flexible wrap might look like your typical bubble wrap but it's much, much tougher.
HEAVIER DUTY OPTIONS
Shipping boards in bulk? Check out our BoardBUBL ™ Tubes
We have been working with some of the leaders in the industry providing them with solutions for shipping multiple new boards in boxes of 3, 5 and 10. These tubes offer much more protection for heavier loads.
MULTIPLE IMPACT PROTECTION
BoardBUBL™ survives multiple impacts
Traditional solutions like void - fill, reconstituted pulp, bubble wrap and cardboard boxes are much more susceptible to damage.
WATER AND HUMIDITY PROOF
Will never lose it's properties when exposed to water.
Commonly used materials such as cardboard and reconstituted pulp deteriorate very quickly upon exposure to humid conditions such as damp during storage, rain or other water exposure during the delivery chain.
FULLY TESTED AND APPROVED
18 months of prototype testing and multiple pilot schemes.
Over 2,000 new surfboards sent all over the World. Not one item damaged; a 100% success rate even after a forklift incident and EasyJet dropping 4 new Bradley Surfboards falling from their loading ramp.
FAST, EASY AND EFFICIENT
Inflate and tear off to size.
Simply inflate with an air compressor by hand. For larger manufacturers, our small auto-inflation machines make packing a fast one-man job.
BOARDBUBL ™ WRAP IS FULLY MALLEABLE
Thanks to its multiple sections, the wrap can be moulded to fit over any rail, tail or nose. Perfect for single board protection both in a box or in a surfers board bag.
BOARDBUBL™ IS FULLY RECYCLABLE
Plastics don't belong in landfill sites or seas. BoardBUBL ™ is a multi-use solution and can be fully recycled. Simply burst all the chambers, roll it up and place in the appropriate recycle bin.
Due to its strength and low pressure. BoardBUBL will not lose its properties under the pressures faced by airline travel
BOARDBUBL™ - ALMOST AS LIGHT AS AIR
By Volume BoardBUBL is 98% air, therefore is super lightweight whilst being super strong.
BOARDBUBL™ IS MULTIPLE USE
During testing, prototypes were used extensively in trips by UniSURFity staff coaching around the World. After 2 years these prototypes are still being in use. Getting boards and camera equipment safely to coaching destinations is paramount to UniSURFity's business.
BOARDBUBL™ HAS A VERY SMALL FOOTPRINT
As it's delivered un-inflated, BoardBUBL™ takes up very little space, for example, this pictured roll contains 20 metres!
This is great news for transporting it in the post, on a shipping pallet or when stored in your warehouse. Simply measure up, tear off and inflate to fit.

I'M A TRAVELLING SURFER CAN I USE BOARDBUBL™ WITH MY BOARD BAG?
The answer is yes, most definitely. Although the products were developed for board
manufacturers and suppliers to use for their shipments, it works really well for individual
use as well.
"Switching to BUBL products has sped up our preparing of shipments, lightened the boxes we send out and made it easier for our customers to deal with our packaging. All this while offering our boards great protection”
“After seeing an increase in damaged shipments last year we decided to switch over to using the revolutionary BoardBUBL packaging (www.boardbubl.com) for all our surfboard shipments going forward. We’ve had a tremendous response to this new material and have reduced damages by more than 80% to-date.“
